The Royal Lancaster Hotel offers splendid facilities for
the 22nd Meeting of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society.
The Hotel is able to accommodate the scientific sessions and
exhibition under one roof, together with overnight accommodation
for the majority of the delegates. Our evening social programme
will also take place in the Hotel.
The Hotel is very well placed for the centre of London, on
the north perimeter of Hyde Park. For delegates and accompanying
persons alike, the location offers easy access to shopping,

Accommodation
The Organisers strongly recommend the use of the Royal
Lancaster Hotel for your accommodation, as special group
rates have been secured and the convenience is obvious.
To guarantee your accommodation you may offer either:
i) your credit card number (no deposit will
be deducted unless you do not arrive).
ii) payment equivalent to one night’s
deposit.
The accommodation account (less the deposit paid) along
with any room extras is payable by you directly to your
hotel on your departure. A receipt for all accommodation
costs will be available from your hotel.
Please note: Accommodation cannot be guaranteed after 26th
February 2003 and where allocations are filled, the Organisers
will make an equivalent substitution.
Cancellations: All accommodation alterations and cancellations
must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat.
Any cancellations after 26th February 2003 will incur a
loss of deposit.

Hotels
The Organisers have also made block bookings with local hotels
conveniently located to the Royal Lancaster Hotel. All requests
for accommodation must be received with appropriate payment
using the Registration Form.
All rates quoted are inclusive of breakfast, VAT and all service
charges and are based on a per night rate. All rooms have
en-suite facilities, telephone and other facilities expected
of the star rating allocated.
Euro rates are given as a guide only and may vary according
to exchange rates.

This fee includes: The Conference Welcome Reception and the
Afternoon Tour.
The Organisers offer a range of tours around London. Tours
will include walks highlighting the various aspects of the
city and its history. The tours will all be held in the morning
and will finish either at or after lunch. For

Individual tours are subject to cancellation if they do not
achieve acceptable numbers.
Leisure Extension Rates: The Organisers have asked the Royal
Lancaster Hotel and other local hotels to hold the Conference
preferential rates for delegates who wish to stay extra nights.
Additionally, if other preferential rates become available,
these will be passed on to delegates at the time of booking.
Exhibition
A large Exhibition will be staged adjacent to the Conference
Plenary Sessions. The Organisers wish to invite interested
organisations to participate and contribute, for mutual benefit.
