Contribute to the 2004 Programme
The Steering Group welcomes all submissions of case histories, research
abstracts or examples of successful methodology to be considered for
poster presentations.
The aims of this Call for Submissions are:
- To showcase best practice
- To enable participants to learn from others’ experiences - positive
and negative
- To encourage presentations from participants
The submissions will be reviewed by the Programme Committee.
Submission categories are as follows:
- Case histories within Business Tourism
- Marketing within Business Tourism
- Business Tourism Lessons learnt or to be learnt from overseas
- The future of Business Tourism in the UK
- Technology in Business Tourism
- Management in Business Tourism
- Striving for excellence in Business Tourism
- Case Histories Best Avoided
Guidelines for Submission
- All submissions must be sent as an E-Mail attachment to btp@indexcommunications.com by 31st
August 2004 (faxed copies will not be accepted).
- All presenting
authors must register as Conference Delegates (some student
bursaries are available).
- All submissions must be in English and be no longer than
300 words.
- The covering E-Mail should contain full contact details, including postal
address, your name, designation and place of work, E-Mail address
and telephone number.
- All submissions should clearly illustrate the objectives, methods
and conclusion reached.
- All references to case histories are the responsibility of the submission
author and the Conference accepts no responsibility for unauthorised
quotation of material by a submission author.
- Abbreviations should be defined at their first occurrence.
- Please adhere to the following title format:

- The decision of the Programme Committee is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.
- Submission authors will receive notification of acceptance (including
format information for the production of posters) or rejection
by 30th September 2004. If an abstract cannot be presented by the Conference,
then
the Conference
Secretariat should be notified in writing ahead of the Conference,
to keep wasted costs to a minimum.
