SESSION 1: NEW AND DEVELOPING AREAS IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH:
This session will explore new or developing areas in occupational health, including debating the role of GPs in the light Dame Carol Black’s review, the development of fi tness to work assessments and how other changes to the external environment such as an ageing population will affect our practice.

SESSION 3: JAMESON PARKINSON LECTURE/ EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL:
The Jameson Parkinson Lecture provides an opportunity to explore whether the current consensus about global warming is based on good scientific evidence. The threat of Employment Tribunals hangs over OHPs. Diana Kloss will chair a mock employment tribunal, with the aim of increasing our familiarity, and allaying our fears.

This session explores the importance of assessment in ensuring a healthy workplace and making improvements. Health, behavioural and psychological aspects will be reviewed, as will some of the consequences if problems are not addressed.
SESSION 6: ACADEMIC SHOWCASE:
The final session showcases the latest research in occupational health.
