Come and join us for an informal event at the Conference venue, the prestigious
Royal College of Physicians.
The aim of this event is to enable delegates to get together informally
before the main Conference begins, to meet up with old friends and
perhaps make some new ones. Drinks and a light buffet will be served.
Tickets are complimentary to Full delegates, but please indicate at the
time of registering whether or not you wish to attend.
With the huge wealth of places to enjoy in London, participants will
not have trouble in finding somewhere to eat and enjoy themselves,
but we thought that it might be a nice idea to have a place where
we can get together perhaps for a late drink, in central London.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, the Dover Street Restaurant and Jazz
Bar offers a combination of French/European cuisine and nightly
live music ranging from Jazz and Blues to Latin and Soul, with
dancing to a resident DJ until late (if you wish!).
Dinner is served from 6pm on weekdays and after 10pm there is a
music cover charge for those wishing to come and enjoy the music
and dancing and have a drink in one of the three bars.
Tickets are NOT included in the Registration Fee. Please indicate
at the time of registering whether or not you wish to attend.
Ticket price of £15 includes entry to the Bar and two Drinks
Vouchers. Additional guests are welcome.
We are delighted to be staging the
2008 Gala Dinner at this
exceptionally special venue in central London. Today a West End
landmark, Café Royal has hosted and
celebrated with society’s crème de la
crème for 140 years, from international
royalty and politicians to artists and icons
of sport, theatre and literature. The venue
provides a lavishly elegant back-drop for
exactly our kind of event – with
decorative architecture and sparkling
chandeliers. This will be a very special
evening. Ticket price includes pre-Dinner
Reception drinks, three course Dinner and some wines.
Tickets are NOT included in the Registration Fee. Please indicate at
the time of registering whether or not you wish to attend.
Additional guests are welcome.
