After two very successful courses in 2011, the next in our series of courses will be held near Manchester, in May 2012.

We welcome General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners. The 2 days are aimed at both basic and advanced level and you are welcome to attend one day of the course or both. The course is being run by Miss Lisa Verity a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a long experience in delivering courses and study days. This unique course is aimed at all primary care providers.
The format of the course has been designed to have didactic presentations followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion. There will be an evidence-based approach including RCOG and NICE guidelines, existing referral pathways and the map of medicine.
The course fee includes morning coffee, afternoon tea and lunch each day, a unique course workbook with all notes from the presentations, certificate of attendance and a DVD of patient information and useful resources.
This course is aimed at:
- GP registrars/GPs who haven't done a hospital O&G job
- GPs who would like a 'refresher' in gynaecology to increase confidence in assessing and managing women with gynaecological symptoms
- Nurse Practitioners & GPs confident in initial management of gynaecological complaints
- Nurse Practitioners and GPs with a special interest in women’s health
- Nurse Practitioners and GPs running well women clinics
